Your American Life Home is covered by a limited warranty. Your new home warranty covers defects outside of normal maintenance for a period of one year from the date of sale. Additionally, manufacturers warranty are provided on items such as HVAC system components, appliances, lighting fixtures, etc. which are covered under warranty by the manufacturer. The delivery systems such as electrical, plumbing, etc. of your new home are warranted for two years from the date of sale. Should your home require service during the warranty period, American Life homes will repair or replace the defective item to meet or exceed the requirements as stated in the ” Homeowner’s Manual and Warranty Guide” which was provided at the time of sale. Our team of qualified individuals from the appropriate supplier and/or construction trade will be utilized to provide the appropriate service. American Life Homes personnel will manage the warranty service. Warranty claims with manufactures should be handled directly with the appropriate manufacturer.
Additionally, American Life Homes provides a StrucSure Warranty that provides backup coverage for the previously mentioned American Life Homes one year and two year warranty. Limited major structural warranty protection is provided for ten years from the date of sale by StrucSure Warranty.
Please consult your “StrucSure” Home Warranty Booklet and your Homeowner’s Manual & Warranty Guide to determine if your service need is covered under your American Life Homes Limited Warranty prior to submitting a Service Request. These guides contain many homeowner-provided solutions, operational standards and troubleshooting tips.
